Lessons are $40 for private lessons and groups are also available. Travel to your barn is also available for an extra fee, depending on mileage.

Lessons are for an hour and include teaching grooming and
tacking for the novice rider.

Many of our riders compete in horse shows, some at the regional and national level, but many of our riders do not have a goal of showing. They are learning to ride for the thrill and pleasure of becoming a partner with a horse. Beginners are one of Brenda's specialties.

Both types of riders are welcome at DSF and we strive to provide a wholesome, family friendly learning environment for our riders. Our motto is that of Will Rogers and "The best thing for the inside of a man, is the outside of a horse."

We offer riding lessons for beginner to advanced riders and are delighted to now offer a program for special needs riders as well. You are welcome to come and visit. We would be delighted to meet you, show you our horses and help you meet your riding goals.
